Revolt Motors, a subsidiary of RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd., announced on Monday that it would start exporting its artificial intelligence-enabled electric motorcycles to Sri Lanka.

According to a statement, the company partnered with Evolution Auto Pvt. Ltd. to open 15 dealerships in Sri Lanka within the next four months, establishing 90 branches nationwide by 2029.

AI Wave

Revolt’s motorcycles have been in the news for their AI-enabled features, such as customizable sound profiles, multiple riding modes, and performance monitoring through a mobile app.

The motorcycle allows users to start or stop their machines by swiping on their mobile application, MyRevolt.

The platform allows them to view their past rides, routes, number of kilometers driven and battery usage.

Riders can also discover battery swap stations based on their real-time locations.

Interestingly, RV400 owners can download four different exhaust sounds to get the feel of driving a petrol engine.

Global Footprint

“Our entry into Sri Lanka is not just a business move; it is a commitment to driving the global transition to sustainable mobility,” said RattanIndia Enterprises Chairperson Anjali Rattan, in the statement.

This expansion aligns with Revolt Motors’ mission to provide innovative, sustainable mobility solutions in emerging markets.

“This collaboration is a key step toward a sustainable future, reducing carbon emissions and promoting cleaner transportation in Sri Lanka,” said Evolution Auto CEO Zahran Ziyawudeen.

He added that Revolt Motors’ innovative electric bikes meet the rising demand for eco-friendly options, offering advanced technology and robust performance for local roads.

Revolt currently sells electric motorcycle models, such as RV400 and RV400 BRZ. It is slated to launch a new product on Tuesday.
